This Privacy Policy explains how the iPdf Master app ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. iPdf Master is a PDF tool that lets you view, create, edit, scan, and manage PDF documents on your Android device. By installing and using iPdf Master, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
a. Files and content you provide. PDFs and images you open, create, scan, or edit are processed locally on your device and stored locally. We do not transmit your files to us.
b. Content you send to AI features. When you use an AI-powered feature, the text and/or images you choose are sent to a third-party AI provider to return a result. Depending on the provider selected/configured, this may be Google Gemini (default), OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), or OpenRouter. Only the content needed for your request is sent, and it is processed under that provider's own privacy policy.
c. Camera and document scanning. The scanner and text recognition (OCR) features use your device camera and Google ML Kit. This processing happens on your device; scanned images and recognized text are not sent to us.
d. Advertising data. The App displays ads using Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process data such as the advertising identifier, device information, IP address, and ad interactions to serve and measure ads.
e. Diagnostic and technical data. The App and the SDKs it includes may process basic technical information (device model, OS version, crash and performance signals) to keep the App working and to deliver ads.
We do not sell your documents, and we do not store your files on our own servers.
The App relies on the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
Your documents and app data are stored locally on your device and remain until you delete them within the App or uninstall the App. Content sent to AI providers is handled according to that provider's policy; we do not keep a copy. We do not maintain user accounts or store your documents on our servers.
iPdf Master is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You can control ad personalization in your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization.
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by the App. Data sent to third-party providers travels over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
